Bacopa caroliniana planted in aquarium

Howdy folks,

First use of the blog section here at Paul’s Aquatics. Figured it was a good opportunity to try something out.

This will be a decent place to check on what kind of fish business we’re up to, what kinds of plants we’re working on in-house, and new things to expect!

So what’s going on in the plant department? Well, not much, but we still have the Bacopa caroliniana going strong and just got some Ambulia(Limnophila sessilflora) ready for purchase as well. (Current stock of both seen below)

We’re also propagating some Red Tiger Lotus in the tub and my home aquarium. Can’t kill this stuff! Had 3 dormant bulbs just sitting in our goldfish pond that just started showing signs of life again. Actually just repurposed that pond into a propagation tub.(As seen below)

I‘m also working on some Water Wisteria(Hygrophila difformis) at home that I picked up at Rivershore Aquarium. (Thanks again, Dan!) Definitely recommend you add Rivershore to your weekend pilgrimage because it is one of the best looking stores in the state right now!

You can also check out this video of Tony digging through one of his plant scraps tanks. Yields some pretty interesting results for the hardiness of the plants we actually have right now.

Will make sure to order a bulk order of plants sometime soon, but in the meantime we have what we have and there’s always the rest of our local business community!

Thanks again and take care!
